Venkat Pattabathula

SVP Chemical Plant Services is led by Venkat Pattabathula, a chartered professional engineer with more than 40 years in the hydrogen, ammonia and urea industry. Before founding SVP, Venkat was the global ammonia technology manager for Incitec Pivot, supporting manufacturing plants across Australia and North America.

He has served on the AIChE Ammonia Safety Committee since 2005, has published more than 150 technical papers on ammonia and urea process safety, plant incidents and technology, and wrote the “Ammonia” chapter of the Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology.
